Whether you are pregnant or just had a baby, you can absolutely benefit from Pilates. In the first trimester you can do most moves in Pilates, your energy levels just might be lower. From the 2nd & 3rd trimester of your pregnancy you need to be aware of moves that you should avoid.
Davina will guide you through this class, which will help you strengthen your muscles, ligaments and joints. You will also focus on learning how to control and release your pelvic floor muscles in preparation for birth as well as preparing your body to recover quickly after birth.
During post natal sessions you will work on your diastasis recti, very common for women to have the separation after birth, with which Pilates will help tremendously.
