Hannah will guide you through a slow and meditative Yin Yoga practice while Michelle takes you on a journey of sound beginning with a DJ set transitioning into dreamy soundscapes, binaural beats and a variety of sound healing instruments including Tibetan & crystal singing bowls, gong, tuning forks, monochord, buffalo drum, steel tongue drum and voice.
These sessions can help to reset your nervous system, release emotional blocks and tap into your inner resources while harmonising and balancing your body and mind by taking you into a deeply relaxed state.
Props and setup:
Please make sure you have a comfortable and warm set up for class. Our bodies tend to cool down as we practice yin so socks, jumpers, blankets etc. are recommended to stay cosy. Don't worry if you don't have a mat - blankets, a rug, carpeted floor or a combination of these are perfect spots to practice yin.
Household items make great yin yoga props. I recommend:
- 1 or 2 rolled up towels
- 1 or 2 hard back books
If you have yoga props then do have them handy too :)
*Connect to headphones ideally or a speaker (best not to listen through phone speakers)
*Ambience -light a candle, incense or diffuse some essential oils
*Drink water before and after the session
