Craniosacral Therapy with Itka Andrlova with Medicine Festival

• 60min • £90 • 1-1 Session • 15 - 19 Aug

CranioSacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, yet profound hands-on bodywork that examines the membranes and movement of fluid in and around the central nervous system which in turn affects the whole body and its systems (e.g.muscular, skeletal, digestive, respiratory, endocrine etc.)

The therapist palpates and determines the areas of dysfunction in the body and using a light touch enables the body to release any restrictions in the fascia, bones and membranes. It combines techniques of myofascial release, cranial osteopathy and energy healing.

CST can help with a wide range of problems including chronic pain, migraine headache, spinal misalignment, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, facial and head trauma, TMJ problems, whiplash, menstrual problems, skeleto-muscular issues, speech problems and many others.

Because CST is tightly connected to our nervous system, deeper emotional issues and cognitive functions, stress, anxiety and PTSD might be addressed during or after the treatment. CST is thought to improve efficiency of biological processes through boosting inherent self-regulation, self-correction and self-healing.

The therapy can be used successfully with children, adults, elderly and it is safe in pregnancy.

Craniosacral therapy addresses all levels of our being - the physical, energetical, mental-emotional and the spiritual level. It can improve the energy flow, release blockages in chakras, release unexpressed emotions, physical and emotional trauma and induce alternate state of consciousness.
