Treatment sessions

How long will a session take?

Each practitioner session, event and class have different times that are shown on the website prior to booking. 

What to prepare for each session?

Yoga mat and comfortable clothes are advisable for most movement based sessions. If you have to prepare anything else you will be notified on the event/practitioner page. 

Can I select a specific practitioner for my session?

Yes, Mamma has all practitioner information and bios so you can choose who you connect with the most. 

How can I cancel my appointment?

You can cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the start time for 1-1 sessions. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for any cancellations for events, classes, retreats. However if you speak to the event host or practitioner, they may be able to reschedule it for you. 

Can I book more than one session?

Yes, you can book as many sessions as you like, for yourself or as gifts for friends and family.

Are bookings transferable?

Some practices and sessions are transferable, please contact the practitioner directly via the messaging function on the website. 


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit & debit card payments via Stripe.

How can I get discounted pricing for sessions and items?

Some of our practitioners offer packages of sessions at a discounted rate. These will be found on the website. Occasionally we will offer discounts on certain sessions and shop products which we will notify you of via our email newsletter. Some practitioners offer discounted prices for people in financial difficulty, please message them directly on their profile to enquire.

Do I get a refund if I cancel my appointment?

If you are a Consumer, you may cancel or reschedule your Treatment (except for Events, Retreats, Courses, Classes) provided that it is not due to take place in the next 48 hours. In such cases we can offer you a full refund. If the Treatment is due to take place in the next 48 hours you will not be entitled to a refund.

For Events, Retreats, Classes and Courses please contact the practitioner/event holder directly through the messenger on their profile page.

I want my sessions reimbursed by my company, can you provide a receipt?

After booking and payment, a payment & booking confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address. You will also be able to see all past transactions on your Mamma account. 

Are there anything I should do before and during the sessions?

It is advised to read through the details of the therapy and clarify any questions with the practitioner and your GP before booking a session. Once a session is booked, please share any medical conditions and anything that you feel could be helpful to the practitioner.

If you have a medical condition it is advised to read through the details of the therapy and clarify any questions with the practitioner through the messaging platform and your GP before booking a session.

What therapies are covered by the health insurance?

This information can be found in your health insurance policy with your provider. Mamma can not guarantee that any of our practitioners/practices are covered by your health insurance.


What can I find on Mamma?

Can I download your online resources?

At the moment we are a streaming and reading service only, but this may change in the future. 

How do I unsubscribe from the mailing list?

To unsubscribe, please click the unsubscribe link within the email. 

What do I do if I’m unhappy with my practitioner/session?

If you're unhappy with your experience for any reason please email with full details of the situation. We will do all we can to help the situation and try to assist by providing the intermediary services around resolving disputes and complaints.

Do you offer corporate wellness programs?

Yes, we offer corporate packages and events, please email to find out more. 

What if I can’t go to the event/retreat I signed up to?

Please message the practitioner/event host to cancel your spot. Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for any cancellations for events, classes, retreats. However if you speak to the event host or practitioner, they may be able to reschedule it for you. 

Is it Mamma Bali or Mamma Wellbeing?

Our registered company name is Mamma Bali Limited, we are trading under the name Mamma Wellbeing. 


How to return faulty items upon receipt?

If you receive an item that has been broken in transit, please email, we can help you with returns and replacements. 

How to amend my order or delivery address?

In case you have provided the wrong delivery address or would like to amend your order, please email We will do our best to change the order or address for you, depending on the delivery status, we cannot guarantee any changes can be made.

What to do if I did not receive my order?

If you haven’t received your order in the time frame promised, please email and we will be happy to assist you.

How can I get special discount?

Occasionally we will offer discounts on certain products which we will notify you of via our newsletter if you have subscribed.


How can I join you as a practitioner?

Go to and fill in all the details. One of our agents will then get in touch and book you in for a discovery call and a taster session, where we can experience and learn about your modality and you can learn more about Mamma. 

After a successful induction you will be able to let us know about your qualifications, send documents & certificates and sign a contract. Once all relevant information is provided your account will be approved and your profile will become visible on the site.

What do I need to join? Eligibility/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience (Some exceptions are made) 
  • Public Liability or Indemnity Insurance with receipt (covering you for the area you practice in)
  • Qualification certificates from an accredited course
  • Clear DBS certificate
  • Professional headshots
  • Valid proof of identification/ID
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Registered as self employed

How to Upload required files?

After a successful induction you will be sent a form requesting all relevant documents.

Requirements to be a corporate/workshop practitioner?

To be a corporate practitioner we ask that you have minimum 1 year experience in the corporate space and meet all the criteria in Mamma’s Eligibility Criteria. There might be additional requirements depending on the company. 

Why do I need to have insurance?

This is important to protect against any risks such as client injuries and alleged misconduct.

How do I get paid?

Payments will be sent to your Stripe account.

What is the schedule for payment?

Payments will arrive to your Stripe account within 3-7 working days of the booking.

How do I cancel my session with a client?

In the circumstance that you wish to cancel a session with a client, please email 48 hours prior to the appointment and we will help you with the cancellation.
