Yin yoga, is specifically designed to slow down, relax and help to open the body and mind. Postures are mostly on the floor and held for 2 to 7 minutes. Props such as bolsters, blocks, belts and blankets can be extremely useful. Sofa cushions and books are just as good. Suitable to all levels of experience.
